As marketplaces onboard a broader range of investors, clear guidance during the first interaction becomes essential.

Evergon now introduces a non-persistent onboarding modal displayed after account registration, designed to guide users through the key steps required to get started.

The modal highlights three core actions:

• Account setup, where users complete their profile
• Wallet connection, linking a wallet to the marketplace
• Identity verification, following the KYC or KYB flow defined by the marketplace administrator

This approach provides structure without restricting exploration, allowing users to move forward at their own pace.

2. Clearer Visibility Rules for Sales

Sale visibility logic has been clarified to better support operational and compliance needs.

Each sale now falls into one of three explicit states:

• Visible, accessible to anyone
• Hidden, accessible via direct URL but excluded from the sales index
• Not visible, accessible only to issuers and administrators

This ensures sensitive or inactive sales remain properly restricted while preserving operational flexibility.

3. Security Improvements from Penetration Testing

Evergon v0.17 includes a set of security improvements identified through ongoing testing and audits.

The most critical issue, an IDOR vulnerability, has been fully resolved.

Additional improvements include:

• Enabling HTTP Strict Transport Security
• Fixing SSL configuration issues
• Removing obsolete CBC cipher usage

These updates further strengthen the platform’s security posture and readiness for production environments.
